British Airways – Champagne & Prosecco Menu Imagery

Brief:
British Airways commissioned updated product photography for the drinks section of their onboard menu, covering both Pannier Champagne and Freixenet Prosecco. The images were part of a wider visual refresh, aligned with the new spring-themed styling set by M&S and their agency. The client required clean, contemporary shots that felt fresh but still retained a sense of premium travel and subtle luxury.
Approach:
The styling followed M&S's minimalist lead, focusing on light textures and springtime energy. Surfaces were carefully selected to create contrast without distraction, and bottle placement was balanced to allow each brand its own presence while feeling cohesive in layout. Lighting was soft, with clear highlights to accentuate the embossed textures and the distinct shape of the Freixenet bottle. Composition was tailored for menu use—both in print and digital—ensuring clarity, elegance, and brand visibility.
Result:
The images were featured in British Airways’ onboard menu and associated marketing, delivering a clean, elevated look that supported the refreshed seasonal aesthetic. The final shots maintained consistency with the broader M&S visual language while reinforcing each brand’s premium positioning within the travel retail environment.
